London Spanish Book & Zine Fair is back with two days of keynotes, discussions and book stalls.

The Fourth edition of the London Spanish Book & Zine Fair will take place on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd October 2022. Register for a visitor’s pass.

International publishers, authors and zinesters will showcase and sell a diverse selection of books in its original language, translations, fanzines, magazines, prints and artwork. 

Acclaimed Argentine writer Fernanda García Lao is due to appear in conversation with writer Karlina Veras. Indie publisher and activist Flor Coll (femiñetas) will bring Feminism in Vignettes, a way to generate self-managed media and writers Cristina Bendek, Yvette Siegert and Velia Vidal will talk about Pacific and Caribbean literature in first person with Literary South. 

Translators Isabel del Rio, Leo Boix and Adam Feinstein alongside Erica Hesketh (Poetry Translation Centre) and publisher Camilla Reeve will discuss translation as a human and inclusive literary activity. Chaired by Consuelo Rivera-Fuentes.

Emerging talents and multidisciplinary zine makers Jasmine Kahlia, Tadeo López-Sendon, Ale From SummerClub and Ignasi Torrent will explore creative ways to find a powerful voice while literary agent Nicolas Grivel uncovers How to make an international graphic project.

Feminist Mexican historian, Jael de la Luz García will discuss From the Political Pamphlet to the Activist Zine in Latin America, as part of the exhibition Thinking Inside the Box curated by Senate House Library and King’s College London, presented by the Centre for Latin American and Caribbean Studies (CLACS).

Storytelling for children with Spanish writer María Quintana Silva. Poetry Open Mic. on ghosts, spoken word performance and outdoor Paste Up installation in collaboration with Art House Project London, London International Paste Up Festival and La Tundra Revista.

Bilingual activities and talks. Indoor Cafe and so much more!
