Born and raised in Peru, this woman shares her deep fight with body image, self care, and traditions. Pepa Duarte is a Peruvian actor, writer and theatre maker. As a multi-disciplined actor who is ‘always writing and always moving’ her unique process creates from the performative space and often explores themes of identity, migration, feminism and belonging. Her work is constantly pushing boundaries to create unique, experiential and challenging pieces responding to the demands of social change. She has been supported and commissioned by Battersea Arts Centre, CASA Festival, Counterpoint Arts, Popelei Theatre, UKNA, Arts Council England, amongst many others.

Jose Manuel Canseco is a Mexican Creative Producer based between London (UK) and Oaxaca (Mexico). He is the founder of The Rose Collective. Theatre producing work includes: Ellipsis (Blue Elephant Theatre, 2019), Moonlight Strangers (Camden People’s Theatre, 2019), Raskolnikova (Actor’s Centre, 2020), Virtual Variety Fest (Online, 2020), Hanal Pixan: Food for All Souls (The Edge, 2021). Film production credits include: Ode to Pauses (Short Shot Festival, Lift- Off Festival Amsterdam 2020), and Rain (Dumbo Film Festival Semi-Finalist 2021).
