A Boy's Marvellous Journey to His Magical Self. This is a series of 12 books written by Teresa Martini with the purpose of helping children stay connected to their hearts and discover how extraordinary they truly are. Books can be read in any order.

As they grow up, children can encounter situations that might lead them to slowly build armours around their tender hearts and perhaps even develop unhelpful beliefs. Inspired by mindfulness principles, in each book our little ones will find a reminder that -no matter what they face- there is a power within themselves that they can tap to always shine their unique light.

These books offer multiple levels of meaning; they are meant to be conversation starters. It's up to the adult the children read the books with how deep they go into that conversation.

Toto discovers the power of his imagination when his wish comes true and the animal friends he lovingly imagined spring to life. This is the beginning of Toto’s journey to realize how extraordinary he is. It is an inspirational story that encourages us to believe in our dreams, and explores the importance of giving our loved ones the space they need to be who they truly are.

02 - Totó y el poder del corazón - IN SPANISH

Little Paws takes Toto on a trip to her magical world. Here Toto learns that instead of fitting into someone else’s idea of happiness, he too can create the world he desires, one based on who he truly is. A message about listening to the unique calling of our hearts to create a loving world.

03 - Totó y el poder de la intención - IN SPANISH

Toto’s powerful imagination creates a big mess. His friends help him do damage control by showing him how to create with intention. It is a humorous story that teaches us about the need to align our hearts and minds to create with purpose.

04 - Totó y el poder de su propia luz - IN SPANISH

Toto is afraid of the dark. With the help and guidance from his friend Little Paws, Toto finds his own light, a light so powerful that it makes all shadows vanish. A story that deals with fear and how we can overcome it by reconnecting with our true power.

After finding very mysterious eyeglasses, Toto sets off on a quest to return them to their owner. His curiosity leads him to become aware of the negative power the glasses harbour and the importance of choosing a loving perception. A powerful message about not letting someone else’s fears affect our loving vision of the world.

Toto keeps changing his appearance to try and win a new friend. When he fails, his true friends help Toto realize he is perfect the way he is. An important message about embracing ourselves and honouring who we are.

Everything goes wrong when Toto allows the negative thinking of a narrow-minded fish get in the way of achieving his dream. With the help of his friends, Toto manages to get back on track by believing in himself and trusting his own guidance. A powerful message about how we are only as capable as we believe we are.

While playing a game at the fair, self-doubt and fear lead Toto to ignore his intuition. This puts him in a tricky and uncomfortable position, until—with the help of his friends—Toto learns to listen to his intuition. A lesson about trusting our “gut feeling” and avoiding what doesn’t feel right, even under pressure.

From the time he gets out of bed, Toto’s negative emotions snowball, and he winds up in a very bad mood. His friends show him how to allow the beauty around him to turn his negative feelings into positive ones.

After eating Ms. Roar’s honey by mistake, Toto comes to realize how greed and selfishness can hurt ourselves and others. By learning to share, Toto experiences how joy and love multiply in abundance for all. A story that teaches how by giving we also open ourselves to receive beyond expectations.

After an unruly dog destroys a toy train he had carefully crafted, Toto is filled with anger and resentment. His friends help him change his perspective and let go of his bad feelings. By forgiving, Toto regains his positive attitude, and the day turns into one of celebration. A story about how choosing forgiveness frees us from angry feelings to leave space for joy.

When Toto compares himself to his friends, he finds he doesn’t measure up. He’s not gifted like them and thinks that he has nothing to offer. Sad and disheartened, he isolates himself in his room. But with Little Paws’ help, Toto discovers his very own gift. A story that reminds us that we all have something to offer the world because each of us is unique in our own special way.
